The N3G005W Wireless Router gives users mobility and shared networking with the power of 3G.

NetComm, Australias leading provider of communications products and solutions, has introduced its N3G005W 3G Wireless Router.

The N3G005W allows wired and wireless devices within a network to connect  to a single 3G account through plugging a 3G USB modem into the routers USB port.

Conventionally, 3G dongle based USB modems have only been of use by a single computer at a time.

By using the N3G005W, a 3G account holder can expand the potential of their connection beyond one machine. For example, the USB dongle could be used for a business laptop during working hours away from the home, but then, via the N3G005W, allow other household members to connect at night from multiple computers. Its compact design makes it easy to transport and share Internet access on holidays, in the car or anywhere else.

As the pricing and data capping of 3G access becomes more economical, more users will be seeking ways to maximize its advantages. The N3G005W meets this need and turns 3G access from a personal asset into something the whole household can profit from.

An additional benefit of the N3G005W is its fail-over capability. A WAN port allows the unit to be connected to a conventional Ethernet modem. In cases where the Ethernet connection is lost, the N3G005W will automatically switch over to the 3G network. It will then revert to the WAN option when connectivity returns.

The N3G005W is compatible with a range of USB dongles sold in Australia.

The N3G005W is available now and has a Recommended Retail Price of $199.00.
