21 March 2013 (Sydney): NetComm Wireless Limited (ASX: NTC)today announced that Mr John Brennan has stepped down as non-executive director. Mr Brennan joined the Board as non-executive director in September 2000, served as Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee from 2003 to 2013 and was also Chairman of the Board from 2011 to 2012. During his time NetComm Wireless made a number of successful acquisitions which helped establish a firm foundation for the future growth of the Company. Mr Brennan’s resignation represents the final phase of the board renewal process and we thank Mr Brennan for his valuable service to the Company.
The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Stuart Black AM to the Board as a non-executive director and Chairman of the Company’s Audit and Risk Committee. Mr Black has had a distinguished career as a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in professional services, agribusiness, financial services, manufacturing, import, distribution, IT and biotechnology. Mr Black sits on a number of Boards as non-executive director, including Australian Agricultural Company Limited, Coffey International Limited, Accounting Professional & Ethical Standards Board Limited and Country Education Foundation of Australia Limited. He is also Chairman of Lowenhaupt Global Advisors and the Chartered Accountants Benevolent Fund Limited.
