NetComm Limiteds continued growth has seen a number of new employees commence work in the last few weeks. With a focus on sales and marketing, these new staff will be instrumental in driving NetComms strategies for its future development.

NetComm Limiteds continued growth has seen a number of new employees commence work in the last few weeks. With a focus on sales and marketing, these new staff will be instrumental in driving NetComms strategies for its future development.

Mersina Demetriou

Increasing new retail sales opportunities will be the focus of NetComms new Business Development Manager (NSW Telco Channel), Mersina Demetriou. Her role will include visual merchandising of Netcomm products in retail telco stores, as well as product training and being a general representative presence. Before joining NetComm, Mersina worked for Telstra in their mobile/internet retail channel as National Prepaid Manager for Mass Merchants. She says that she is looking forward to working with NetComm and the challenges it will bring in while expanding the product presence in a new retail channels.

Ben Wilson

Ben Wilson will be Business Development Manager for the Sierra Wireless AirLink range of 3G Gateways, which will be distributed in Australia by NetComm. These devices are a line of intelligent 3G gateways for mobile data applications, especially suited for demanding environments or un-manned facilities.

Ben previously worked with Intelematics on the development of automotive telematics solutions for GM Holden and before that with Telstra, working in the Enterprise& Government mobile business development team. Ben says he is keen to take up the challenge of establishing the Airlink product in the Australian market.

Ray McIntyre

As the new Sales Manager for the Netassure Internet Productivity tool, Ray McIntyre brings a can-do attitude and lots of experience to the role. He was previously Channel Sales Manager at McAfee and CA. and has 15 years experience in partner management, IT security and Managed Services. Besides being determined to "dominate the competition", Ray is loving the fact that he lives very close to the NetComm offices and no longer has to battle the Sydney traffic!

Mike Bartsch

NetComm has appointed Mike Bartsch as its new 3G Product Manager. As the firm focuses on building its product portfolio of 3G mobile broadband routers, Mikes experience as Product Manager for Australian and German IT companies will be invaluable. Prior to joining NetComm, Mike worked in Product Management for NEC Computers Australia looking after Laptops and Desktops. Before that he worked as a Product Manager at AVM Computer Systems and Freecom Technologies in Germany. "Im very excited about NetComms product portfolio," says Mike. "These are Australian developed devices with world-class potential."

Kathryn Passalis

NetComms new Financial Controller, Kathryn Passalis brings a wealth of experience and a need for speed to her role. Before she came to NetComm, Kathryn worked as the Finance Director at Global Action Sports, the promoter and producer of the Crusty Demons Freestyle Motocross shows. Plus in her spare time, Kathryn trains for the gruelling Oxfam 100km Trailwalker event, which involves a team of four people covering 100km of Australian bush in less than 48 hours and collectively raising at least $1,000 for Oxfam. Kathryn will be responsible for preparing accounts, budgeting & forecasting, management reporting and general finance related matters at NetComm and says shes looking forward to working closely with the business and the finance team to continue to build efficiencies.

Rohini Goyal

NetComms web presence will be given a boost by the appointment of Rohini Goyal as Web Development Manager. Rohini will be responsible for managing the whole NetComm family of websites, including those for Dynalink, NetAssure, Call Direct and C10. Prior to NetComm, Rohini was the Senior Web Developer at News Limited and an Implementation Specialist at Squiz.net. Her first major goal is to increase NetComms site traffic and web revenue through the new SEO optimized and W3C standard sites shes building.
