NetComm, a leading Australian provider of communications products and solutions, today announced a strategic partnership with Votech Industries, a Queensland based organisation for the rollout of in-room hotel access to their property group across Australia.

Dreamtime Resorts were looking to add an in-room internet service to our properties. In our search we looked for a provider that could offer us service guarantees as well as a solution that was supportable and could be replicated on multiple sites said Garry McKenzie, Managing Director of Dreamtime Resorts.

Votech brought us a solution from NetComm which allowed us to leverage our existing telecommunications infrastructure including the cabling that we already had for running our phone systems, which meant no new cabling and minimal disruption to our guests during the installation period.

The Votech service plan offered us NetComm hardware that provided ADSL and internet access into hotel rooms using our existing wiring, the ability to bill the guests for internet usage, full integration of guests usage into our PMS and in room support for hotel guests between 7am and 11pm AEST said McKenzie.

";This option from Votech met and exceeded the expectations that we had of a partner to install and support this new service line for Dreamtime resorts said McKenzie.

In-room internet access provided by Votech/NetComm is now available at 6 of the 20 Dreamtime properties with more coming online soon.
